I know Helene's grandmother was Louisa Clark(may be from another marriage)...The grandfathers name then is either Chadwick or Clark and named it Chadwick after the chadwick family as a sign of respect or honor or something.......still checking into it....Not even sure what happen to Helene after she died from the fall.....or where she may be interned bought an autographed picture of Helene form ebay for $135.00(how's that for devotion?) some of the chadwick family are interned in Sauquoit Valley Cemetery...just down the road from St.Mary's ...sauquoit-clayville road,in Sauquoit NY..i have the obits of john Chadwick, the wife Maragaret Urtz(my family line on mother's side) Chadwick,His son John Jr., lucy Chadwick Hahn's( i also have an old photo of Lucy and Anna Hart wife of George Hart Jr. son of Anna urtz and George Hart senior. Lucy V. Hahn, 85, of 34 Brookline drive, died on Saturday, February 3, 1979 in Faxton Hospital.
Lucy Chadwick was born in Chadwicks, NY on November 14, 1893, the daughter of John and Margaret Uertz Chadwick. She was educated in Chadwicks and New Hartford schools. On September 6, 1948, she married Leo M. Hahn. Mrs. Hahn was an Episcopalian.
Surviving are her husband; two nephews, John Chadwick, New Harford, and Gorton Chadwick, CA; and several cousins.
A private funeral service will be held on Monday at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Dr. Donald Berry officiating. Burial will be in Sauguoit Valley Cemetery, Clayville. There are no calling hours. Friends so desiring may offer memorial tributes to their favorite charity. [4, 5]
