William Dishington, born ca.1495 in GB, Scotland, Fifeshire, Ardross (?), resided 31.12.1529 in Ardross, died 1547 in Battle of Pinkie, occupation 11.10.1531 "Fiar of Ardross". , , Stated in Register of Privy Seal 1563 to be father of Thomas Dishington.
He married ukjennt Sandilands, born ca.1500 in GB, Scotland, Fifeshire (?), (daughter of James Sandilands and Margaret Kinloch) resided in Ardross.
