They with their 7 children left from London for America April 29,1635, on the ship "Elizabeth & Ann". They were in Boston or Cambridge, Mass. about a year, then joined the "Hooker Party" in 1636 and were the original settlers of Hartford Conn. Thomas Lord's name is on the Founders Monument. All Descents from then to to now are entitled to membership in the "FOUNDERS OF HARTFORD"
