Charles claimed he was widowed in the 1900 census, however, his wife Priscilla was still alive, so we believe they were actually seperated or divorced.

Charles W. is listed as a junk dealer in Beloit in 1907 (age 67).

Living alone in beloit in the 1910 Census.

Charles was divorced by 1910, was an inmate in the Winnebago IL State Farm House in 1920, died in 1922 and was buried in the family plot - but in a section all by himself.
