was one of the pioneers of Concord, Mass. He was settled about a mile east along Bay Rd - then a simple Indian trail, and found vacant land just east of the property once occupied by Ephraim W. Bull, the originator of the Concord grape. He probably reached Concord in 1636.
He was made a freeman of the colony in 1642. In 1666 he was a large landholde with 157 acres in 20 tracts.
