Hi,
I ran across your Ancestry.com submission on Margaret Estelle Haertel. I'm hoping that you might be able to shed some light on her husband, Alva J. Baldwin. I've been following this family through the Waukesha Freeman papers for many years prior to and following the Haertel/Baldwin marriage.
My question lies with the parents of Alva Baldwin. Do you have a copy of their marriage record?
In Mary Westervelt's obit, Alva is mentioned as her son. This came as a surprise to me since I only knew her to be married to George Westervelt. Are you familiar with any of this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
