My grandmother was Celia Darentha West, daughter of Shelton West and Laura Colcalazier or Colclazier. Grandmother Celia was born in Tipton County on October 17, 1894. She married Troy Vurnen Porter on March 12, 1913. Is anyone researching the West/Colclazier line? I have an old photo of a man and woman -- on the bottom of the photo it says Tipton, Indiana and the name "Harvey" who I assume is the photography studio. The man is seated and the woman is standing by his side with her hand on his shoulder. On the back it says Great Great Grandma and Grandpa Colclazier. I will be happy to share this photo with any Colcclazier researchers in hopes that you can give me their names and help me determine who they are and how they are related to me. |
