  • Notes
    • Hadle Olsson spent his entire life as a husmann and was married three
times. Although he had no children from any of his marriages, he was
named as the father of Ola Norem by Siri Olsdatter Norheim. Hadle was
baptized 4 s.e. Trin. Hadle received a contract for the husmannplass
Rabben from his father in 1838. He was obligated to fence in his
land, but the farmer of bruk #2 was to have the right to drive his
cattle across it in the spring. The rent was 2 speciedalar and Hadle
had to work 6 days in the spring, 2 days haying and 6 days at harvest
time. Hadle is listed in the 1865 census as a "husmann med jord". The
other members of the household were his wife and a lodger. In the
1900 census, he was described as unable to work and being supported by
      the "Poor Commission".
