      Schwendemann, Lucille Mae MADISON - Lucille Mae
      Schwendemann, age 82, passed away on Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at the University Hospital in Madison. She was born on March 28, 1922, in Genesee Depot, Waukesha County, the daughter of William and Lydia (Beerkircher) Voss. Lucille grew up in rural Wisconsin on farms in Ridgeway, Linden and Cobb. She graduated from Ridgeway High School. Lucille was united in marriage to Robert F. Schwendemann on Jan. 19, 1950, in the Mount Horeb Lutheran Church. In her earliest years, she was employed with Rayovac until leaving to raise her family. In later years, she worked in food service at Van Hise School. Lucille was a wonderful and devoted wife and mother. Her family and friends were her greatest joy in life and she treasured each moment spent with them. She has given all who knew her cherished memories that will never be forgotten. Lucille is survived by her son, Scott (Lisa) Schwendemann, and their son, Luke; a daughter, Joan (Tom) Loban, and their children, Paul and Jake Loban; and her brother, Roy (Lynn) Voss. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert F. Schwendemann; a brother, Lyle Voss and his wife, Alice; a brother, Lawrence; a sister, Marie; and dear friend, Albert Antolec. Funeral services will be held at the GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL HOME, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, with Chaplain Bob Groth presiding. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation for family and friends on Monday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Please join us in celebrating Lucille's life at the Schwendemann family home following burial at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center, 5395 E.
