      The Watertown City Medical Society, the new organization, was formed at a meetig of physicians held Jan 28, 1896, in response to a general feeling on the part of the profession that closer association would be beneficial, all of which subsequent results have shown.

       
      The preliminary organization was effected by the election of J. Mortimer Crawe, chairman, and Charles N. Bibbins, secretary.

      Dr. C. N. Bibbins, 75, Dies in Watertown of Heart Attack

       
      Watertown, June 13 - Following a private prayer service tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of his son-in-law, Roland Amos, 234 Ten Eyck Street, funeral servies will be held at 3:30 in the First Presbyterian Church for Dr. Charles N. Bibbins, 75, who died yesterday at his home at 1533 Sterling Street. He was the victim of a heart ailment with which which he had been afflicted for 20 years.
       
      Dr. and Mrs. Bibbins passed the winter in Miami, Fla., and returned a week ago, since which time the doctor, one of Waterton's oldest practitioners, had been failing rapidly. His death occured at 1 o'clock. A native of Burrville, he had maintained an office here for 48 years.
       
      Dr. Bibbins leaves in addition to his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Roland Amos, and a son, George S. Bibbins of Short Hills, N.J.
