Elizabeth and Rayburn Douglass had four children:
Melvin Douglas-b. 1861 in Peru,
William SheridanDouglas and Wilson Sherman Douglas-b. Jan. 17, 1865 in Peru, and
Winona Douglas-b. 1868 in Peru.
By 1880, the family had left Indiana and were found in Joplin, MO. They then left Missouri and moved to Oswego, Labette, KS. I have no further information on Melvin.
Winona married a Talbert and moved to Seattle, Washington where she died in 1942.
Wilson stayed in Oswego and died Feb. 5, 1937.
William Sheridan Douglas married Lena Pearl Gilmore -b. May 8, 1871 in Litchfield,IL ,d. May 23,1901Monett,MO) and Margaret Tiller (Fannie),b.1850,d.-July 8, 1883(Litchfield,IL.)
Lena Douglas divorced William Sheridan Douglas and died in Riverside CA in 1947 .
Lena Gilmore (Douglas) was the daughter of Harvey M. Gilmore-B. Aug. 1, 1836 and D.-May 23, 1901, and Margaret (Fannie) Tiller-B. 1850-D. July 8, 1883.
William Sheridan Douglas died in Oswego,KS March 11, 1934.
