  Arthur Fridjtof Christofersen was a missionary to Africa.   He and Julia both graduated from a small Baptist college, Shurtleff, in Alton, IL. It went out of existence and its campus was taken over by Southern Illinois U. He then received his BD from Crozer Seminary in Penn. And later while on furlough attended, and we believe received a MA degree from U of Chicago Divinity School. Papers of the American Board of Commisioners for Foreign Missions Christoferson, Arthur F.
