The interesting story regarding Beatrice and James H. is that after she and James divorced, she moved out to California (San Francisco) and went through 3 or 4 or 5 husbands (who went through her $'s in good fashion). The only one I can recall was a Ben Culler, but she had some silverware with some other initials on it, so I know there were more. Then, when Flossie (Florence) died, Beatrice just happened to be between husbands, and must have contacted James, because she returned to Hingham where they remarried to live happily ever after. My older sister and I went back to visit Bea just after James had died in the winter of 1964/65. She died not too long after we returned to Calif. |
