came to New England with his parents before 1641. He was admitted freeman May 19, 1680. He was a private under Maj. Simon Willard in King Phillips War in 1675.
He held 23 acres of second division land bounded by Richard Temple and John Smedley and another tract of 21 acres near there.
He was called 'John of Chelmsford' so he must have resided for a time in htat town.
